Luton Station Interchange links the Busway, coaches and local buses to train services at the station.  At Luton Airport Parkway there is a shuttle bus to and from Luton Airport and local bus routes stop outside the main entrance. At Leagrave station local bus routes stop within two minutes walk from the station. To look up your bus and train route use the journey planner on the right-hand side.

Cycling To The Station

National Cycle Network Route 6 links Luton to Dunstable and Harpenden with a mostly off road and surfaced route with some on road cycle lane sections.  All three stations are near to Route 6 for easy access.  There is a shared use path for cyclists and walkers which follows the Busway route from Luton Station Interchange to Dunstable.

It is possible to take your bike on First Capital Connect trains between Bedford and Luton Airport Parkway stations. If you are travelling further afield a folding bike can be handy to take on the train.

Walking To The Station

Leagrave and Luton Airport Parkway stations are next to the Upper Lea Valley Walk. All streets in Luton have footpaths next to them with pavements leading up to the three stations. Use the Walk It journey planner, on the home page, to work out the most direct or the quietest route to the station.

Why not walk from Leagrave station to Luton and Dunstable Hospital which takes about 30 minutes. Marsh Road shops and Leagrave Park are also a short walk from Leagrave station.

Luton Station is 5 minutes walk from The Mall shopping centre and the Central Library, The University of Bedfordshire is an 11 minute walk, and Wardown Park Museum is a 25 minute walk.  Follow the new Town Centre on street waymarkers and maps from Luton Station to your destination.

On foot from Luton Airport Parkway station Luton Retail Park and the Venue 360 Sports Facility are just round the corner. Capability Green Business Park is a 20 minute walk and Stockwood Park is only a 30 minute walk away.
